Kalodoukas Holidays has been operating in
Symi since 1978, always hosting tourists from all countries of
the world. We cooperate with agencies abroad, like English,
French, Swiss, Italian, Danish, etc. Since 1995 has been
operating also in Serbia, in Belgrade.
Our office provides
our visitors with the most comfortable studios and apartments in
Gialos (the port), Chorio (the upper town) and Pedi Bay. All of
them keep the traditional style of the island and most of them
are very old houses that have been restored and renovated, but
keep their original characteristics, such as: arched ceiling
rooms, slit windows once used for firing guns at pirates, old
chimneys and fire places.

Apart from the studios and
apartments we book for you rooms in the best hotels of the
island and we arrange your reservations for other islands of
the Aegean, as well as for the neighboring cities of Asia
Minor.

I have been operating Kalodoukas
Holidays since I started the Company in 1978. Kalodoukas
Holidays has built up an enviable reputation as the

built on providing our clients with a service which is

holiday homes on
the island.

If you have never been to the
beautiful and
magical island
of
Symi island, I must urge you to
consider visiting us. Symi is a very friendly island which
has not been spoilt by mass tourism. There are no high rise
hotels, villa complexes, marinas etc. just traditional Greek
island life and hospitality.
Our holidays Villas, Appartments and
Studios are traditional Symiot houses renovated with loving
care, but with modern conveniences which you expect when on
holiday. Staying in one of these old traditional houses and
living amongst the local people means you will be able to
live like an islander and totally unwind and forget the
stresses of modern life.
We provide many
varied things for you to do such as excursions by boat and
walking. You can also stay in newly renovated apartments at
our organic farm at beautiful Marathounta where you will see
how an organic farm operates. Learn how to cultivate olive,
orange, fig, and lemon trees. You can also learn Greek
cookery, including the making of cheese and yogurt. And
learn the
Greek language, and by the way
swimming at Marathounda is wonderful. We swim there all the
year round.
The normal way to get to Symi is by air to Rhodes (Rodos)
airport. Once there, we will arrange for a taxi to the
harbour, tickets on the ferry to Symi, and overnight
accommodation in Rhodes, if required. We can also assist
with all other travel arrangements to and from Symi. to suit
your specific requirements.
