Patmos mainly is for quite Holidays, but for those who want to "live it out", there is plenty to do! Many clubs, Bars and Discos playing modern sounds. If you would rather go for the traditional Greek way of life, then there is a lot going on..! During the summer months the local Municipality organizes evenings of traditional Greek folk dances at the town's main squares.

There are also many feasts (panigiria) celebrated during the summer months.

Patmos is famous for the hospitality offered by its people which is still present, despite the tourist development. It is a custom and part of the local culture, that lives on since the ancient days!

In the traditional Village of Chora, on the Island of Patmos, with its charming paths and the incomparable serenity that the sanctity that the site exudes, where the monastery of Saint John’s Theologos prevails, stands the Villa Patmos.

The Villa is about 250 meters from the nearest Supermarket, the bus-stopand taxi station and only 300 meters from from the monastery itself. The nearest parking for cars is 70 meters away, Xanthos's main square parking area is 200 meters, while the bikes can drive-up to the front door of the Villa Patmos.
The Villa itself is 2 km from the cave of Apocalypse, 4.5 km from Skala harbor and 3 km from the Grikos Village beach.The Villa was built in 1898 and it covers a total area of 230 sq. meters, with 150 sq.m. of living space. It was renovated the winter of 2001, maintaining however the traditional style of Patmian houses. Villa Patmos is the ideal place for people that want to relax, away from noise and large crowds, yet it can also be combined with the cosmopolitan life of Patmos during high season, seeing the location is so close to all nightlife elements.

The Villa consists of the following:

- 2 big bedrooms with matrimonial bed, TV and Air Conditioning..!
-A big traditional living room (60 square-meters) with Satellite TV and music, that can also be used as 3rd bedroom as there is upstairs and open (loft) sleeping gallery with Greek Traditional sofa for 2 persons.
Also under the sleeping gallery, there is a possibility for a 4th bedroom since there is one more traditional king size sofa and can be totally private.
- 2 W.C with shower and hot water (1 indoor and 1 outdoor).
- A comfortable kitchen independent from the house ( a yard divides them) comes fully - equipped with all the facilities: (toaster, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and electric stove).

Also provided are the following conveniences: steam-iron, hair dryer, laundry for the use of guests. The Villa is surrounded by 2 small gardens planted with flowers and small palm trees that during the night-time emanate a romantic atmosphere due to the special indoor lighting.

In the main garden covered by a large pergola there is a fountain amongst the flowers in front of the yard and a 2nd small garden also with pergola, stone bench and a table surrounded by flowers. In the main yard the guests have the opportunity of using the traditional furniture (tables & chairs of a Greek petty coffee-houses) for dinners or parties are a breeze in this setting with the facilities available.

The house can accommodate 6-8 persons and is ideal for large families, groups of friends or parties. Cleaning is everyday and change of linens and towels every 3 days. There is also possibility to be served continental breakfast daily from 07:30 am - 10:30 am if requested.

A large veranda of 100 sq. m. at the second floor is planted with flowers have sun beds and traditional stone beds, ideal for relaxing and enjoy the breaks under the magnificent view of the Aegean Sea and the island landscape.
