Prasonissi is 92km from Rhodos town A strip of land connects the tiny uninhabbited island with the island of Rhodes. The beach on the western side is always windy and wavy, ideal for wind/kitesurfing. On the other hand, the eastern beach is always calm and sheltered, ideal for swimming and also for the first steps in the world of windsurfing

At the southern end of the island of Rhodos, a small wonder can be found.

Two sandy coves ending in an island, that you can reach on foot or by swimming, depending on the weather and the level of the water. This is a paradise for surfers, especially in July and August when the meltemi winds are blowing.

One can surf with his/her own equipment but there is always equipment for hire and a windsurfing school.
