Archaggelos - Rhodos

The last years, the increasing tourism of our village is one of our main financial sources, since we can accommodate 1.400 tourists. The main reasons for this increasing rate are the following:

·  the natural beauties of the village (beaches, forests, mountains).

·  the existence of many houses ready to accommodate the tourists.

·  the development law, which gave the chance to built contemporary and organized hotel complexes.

·  the development of local business activities for servicing the tourists (travel agencies)

·  the hospitality and the good manors of the inhabitants, as well as the traditional character and the unsophistication of the people.

Our estimation why a tourist should spend time in our village is the following:

1.   the low cost for accommodation

2.   the existence of two beaches without any hotels

3.   the natural beauty

The above reasons consist the advantages of our village to attract tourists of middle or low budget. We must all then try to preserve all these advantages, in order to have increasing number of tourists every year.
