LARDOS OFFERS all the facilities you would expect in a modern holiday destination doctors surgery; dentist, pharmacy; hairdresser; exchange facilities; international telephone network; news agent; car, motor bike and bicycle hire and two swimming pools. Everything you need to ensure an enjoyable and memorable holiday.
ACCOMMODATION offers private bathroom, kitchenette with 2 electric rings, refrigerator, clean linen and towels and maid service once a week. All the rooms are airy and of a good standard and all accommodation is well situated for easy access to the village square and bars. None are above, adjacent, or directly near any discos or bars.
LARDOS, the village we have chosen for your stay, is on the sunny south east of the island within easy reach of Lindos.
Although today it can boast all the modern amenities, it remains an essentially traditional Greek village.
Life centers around the village square where many local people still go to draw natural spring water from the fountain, preferring it to the perfectly drinkable piped water supply.

THE GREEKS still like to sit in the cafeneion (means cafι) on the square and drink coffee or ouzo whilst watching the world go by.
After dark, however , some of bars do take on a more modern flavour, playing disco music and serving cocktails.

THE MANY LOCAL RESTAURANTS offer a mouthwatering selection of both Greek and international cuisine.
You can choose from the cheap and delicious souvlaki pittas to the sumptuous local fresh lobster. Lardos can certainly cater for all tastes and budgets.

YOUR ENJOYMENT of the local night life may center around some spontaneous Greek dancing in a bar or restaurant.
Occasionally local bands will pay live music in the square, and a local wedding will usually prompt two or three nights of dancing.
Alternatively, the local hotels can offer the more contemporary discos and Kareoke evenings, while Lindos with its more extensive night life, can easily be reached by taxi.
