Introduction The Volleyball Organising Team
welcomes and invites you to participate in the NatWest
Island Games Rhodes 2007 XII.
Both Volleyball and Beach Volley are very popular in Rhodes,
as they are all over Greece, and thus Beach Volley has been
included in the competition schedule.
Five volleyball clubs make up the Local Volleyball
Association and together with the Local Association of
Referees a local volleyball league has been organised.
Additional national and international tournaments both in
Volleyball and Beach Volley are organised throughout the
year always with the support of the National Volleyball
Federation.
In 2002, 2003 and 2004 one of the FIVB World Beach
Volleyball Championships was successfully organised in a
unique and picturesque location in the Rhodes City Centre.
